We do edge to edge quilting, edge to edge with borders, or custom quilting. We are happy to work with you to digitize an idea you might have for a quilting design. We are not doing hand-guided quilting at this time.

• Edge-To-Edge:

  • Edge-to-edge is an all-over design that goes all the way from one edge of the quilt top to the other and from top to bottom. 

  • Browse the Quilting Designs pages for some of the hundreds of designs we have available to us. Or, if you don't see what you have in mind, feel free to go to any of the web sites of quilting designs online. Here are some of our favorites:

    • Pro-Stitcher

    • When you find what you are looking for, we will purchase the design at no charge to you up to $20 (most designs online are in the $10-$15 range). If the cost of the design is higher than $20, you may be asked to pay a portion of the cost depending on whether we can use the design again for other quilts.

• Edge-To-Edge with borders:

  • We can fit an edge-to-edge design within the borders on your quilt, then use a border design in the border.

  • The standard charge for borders is $10 each.

• Custom Quilting:

  • Contact us for custom quilting. We would love to work with you on using or creating quilting designs to enhance your quilt.

• Previewing the quilting design on your quilt top:

  • We can show you what a design will look like on your quilt by using a photo of your quilt and superimposing the quilting design over the photo. Here is an example. It's a great way to ensure you will love your quilt!​

• Pricing:​

  • For Edge-To-Edge quilting, we charge between $.02 to $.03 per square inch depending on the denseness of the design. For example, a twin size quilt 70" by 90" would be calculated as 70 x 90 = 6300 square inches times .02 cents per square inch = $126.00 plus batting and sales tax. NOTE: there is a minimum charge of $50 for small quilts.

  • For edge-to-edge with a border: using the example of the 70" by 90" twin quilt above, the cost would be $126 plus $10.00 = $136.00. Additional borders are $10.00 each.

  • For custom quilting, cost starts at $ .08 per square inch depending on the complexity of your quilt top and the density of the quilting design. We will work with you to provide an estimate before beginning to quilt.

  • Batting: we carry Pellon Nature's Touch batting, 96" wide, 80/20 cotton/poly blend. Charge for batting is $9.00 per yard. Nature's Touch is our favorite batting. It is a low-loft batting that is soft and drapes very well. If you prefer another brand or type of batting, you are welcome to purchase batting on your own and send it along with your quilt. Please make sure your batting is 4"-5" larger than the quilt top on each side.

• Trimming:

  • We are happy to trim your quilt after quilting for a charge of $10.00. We will trim the batting and backing even with the quilt top. ​

• Binding:

  • We can machine sew binding to the front of your quilt. If you prepare the binding, the cost is $ .10 per linear inch.

  • We can prepare the binding ,using fabric you supply, and machine sew the binding to the front of the quilt for $ .20 per linear inch.
